One lucky Nissan 300ZX twin turbo fan was recently able to tour the manufacturer's famed Zama Operations Center in Kanagawa, Japan. The location is the home to Nissan's storage facility of historical automobiles and it is also the headquarters for specialty Nissan builder Autech. Amazingly, the visitor was able to escape alive with pictures.

The most hotly anticipated reveal of the Tokyo motor show has officially gone public. Most of us already know a bit about the car, as we broke the story on pics and information leaked by a MotorTrend publicist last week. It finally sank in a while back that Skyline and GT-R are now two exclusive entities unto themselves. As such, Nissan has just unveiled its newest version of the Skyline to its domestic market, which is essentially the Infiniti G37 here in the States, but with an additional three horsepower, Nissan's new pop-up engine hood technology and a blind-spot monitor system.

On October 24, the latest chapter in Nissan's storied GT-R history will officially kick off with the unveiling of the new Nissan GT-R at the Tokyo Motor Show. To help ramp up excitement (as if the barely-disguised prototypes snapped taking shots at Porsche's Nurburgring records haven't done that enough this week), the official Nissan GT-R website has been launched, and as you can see above, there's a countdown clock available for download. To help keep you entertained as you (im)patiently await the big reveal in Japan, Nissan has clickable images of each iteration of the GT-R on the site which give you factoids to mull over in the meantime.
