The First round of the 2009 VORBC (Victorian Off Road Buggy Club) takes place on Sunday March 22nd from 11am to 4pm at the Korumburra MX Circuit. Entry is just $2. Come along for lot's of high speed action and entertainment. Mini buggies are 1000 cc plus single seat Off Road machines that race wheel to wheel around a twisting dirt circuit. Track location details are: The KMCC motocross track is located at Outtrim-Leongatha road Outtrim (Vic Roads Country Directory edition 4 map 96 E10).

The Korumburra event was a great success and we are expecting an even bigger day at Avalon for the next Sunday April 26th VORBC Raceday. The track is located approx 250 metres to the left around from the off ramp to Avalon Airport off Geelong Road. The day will start at around 11am and conclude at approx 3pm. If you would like to get into off road racing on a budget come along and talk to the VORBC club people there on the day. Entry again, just $2. Food and soft drink available at the kiosk.

Although the icy weather set in last Sunday and cut the day short everyone had a good chance to get in some competitive race laps at Avalon and see what a great track this is for buggy racing. We will soon have pictures posted on the club web page. The next race meeting is scheduled for Sunday May 24th at the same venue. Entry is just $2 with the kiosk open for food and drinks. VORBC Round 5 happens this Sunday from 11am at the brand new Stadium Track at the Melton Jetboat Complex. You'll find it at the MacPherson's Park Reserve in Coburns Road to the north of Melton. The off road track is situated at the rear of the park within the Jetboat Complex. There'll be both mud buggy racing as well as Freestyle MX. Adults $10, 10-16's $5 and children under 10 with an adult free. Food and drinks are avalable and supplied by local sports clubs. Stadium racing means you see the whole track from high up on the spectator area. Bring your seats.
