Actually for real real : BUY A BIKE. cheaper faster more pull power, better parking. AND summer is coming - you can do the Scarb Bch - freo coffee strip cruise...

Bikes are good but the Girlfriend/boyfriend will get sick of it very quickly.
(this is why I have a car & bike)

I looked on Carshowroom (by clicking on the Carshowroom icon above this page) & searched for cars 20-30K. Out of the ones below $25K I would look at buying (if I was to buy a new small car) one of the following;

Honda City/Civic - Both below 25K, look good & built with Honda Quality

Subary Impreza - Might only be a base model for 24K but plenty of potential for future mods.

Dodge Caliber - Don't know much about the dodge but it looks cool (& different)

hehe - i thought he coulda done that himself... LOL.
the Honda is a good pick. My Pop tyre kicked them a bit recently - then bought a Mitsubishi COLT. they arent too bad. Based on the A-class Merc (allegdedly)
The suburu are good, but expensive.

If I was to get a Mitsubishi for around this price range, I would go for a Lancer.
All mitsubishi's have a good warranty.

yes, i personally dislike lancers, alas, my mum got an Olympic edition Lancer late last year, each dealership only gets ONE each. so like 300 in australia; nice car, bit flash for a lancer though- very honda-ish in quality & build.
