At first glance I'd say another Studebaker but it looks a lot like an old Thunderbird too? Kind of a cross between.

The car looks like a mid 60's Sunbeam, but I couldnt find a model that matched the one pictured. Also there are too many letters on the badge above the grille - The ones I've seen just have 'Sunbeam' in Block letters. I'll keep searching - when I get time

Okay hints... From a region other than where the manufacturer is headquartered yet still produces cars to this day.

When I first saw the photo, I thought 'Pegaso' but after a little research, I'm going to guess Pinin Farina bodied Ferrari from the early 50s.

ferrari?? looks american to me. sort of like a chrysler..

Neither Ferrari nor Chrysler, nor any of their derivatives. You are a little closer to correct Katana.
Is it a Pininfarina or Ghia coachwork? I found this pic of a Studebaker Ghia. Is that it?
05/27/2009 Tennessee
Nope. Not a Stude'. But you are in the right direction as far as continent of manufacturer and of actual build as well as timeframe.
1stClassDesigns said: Okay hints... From a region other than where the manufacturer is headquartered yet still produces cars to this day. Do they still produce passenger cars today? And are they produced under the same name as they were back then?
Yes they do. Globally.
Damn, that's what I get for trying to guess based on the microscopic image on my Blackberry. Now that I'm on a real computer it's definitely NOT a Ferrari. Gotta think about this one.
