Its a Matra-Simca 'Bagheera' from the 1970's

It was powered by a 1294cc engine which outputed 84 bhp & weighed just 884kg.
The strange thing about it is that you could seat 3 people abreast.

That was gonna be one of my clues if no one found it. It was a three seater sports car! I saw one years ago at an auto Museum in Texas. But you got it! 1973 to be exact. Did the yella paint scheme help? LOL, Your up!

Front Half looks like a Beauford with the exhaust headers coming out infront of the spare wheel & the shape of the front fenders. BUT I haven't seen a 2 seater like this.

The bonnet ornament looks like a Plymouth emblem.

Tail lights look like they are from a VW Beetle/Kombi.

Is this car a modified Beauford or a Beauford kit car?

I agree with adamadam28, Apropriate picture for Wimbeldon time. Could it be an Excalibur Roadster perhaps? Looks like mid to late 70's?

:D um i would guess.. a 1980's, maybe 1990's version of a soft-top blonde, awesome mileage, two low mileage owners, taken to church each Sunday without fail ALWAys freshly oiled & lubed, new rubbers all round lots of spares, lots of room to grow :P:P hehe

Um.......are we still refering to the car? LOL. Bye the way speaking of beauties, what happened to your eye catching icon? It was just a tad bit better looking than the new one. (talk about extremes) What is the new one anyway?
