that would be a Mazda Cosmo 110S

am i correct?

Yella31

Yella31 says:

Katana is correct

The Cosmo pictured was one of the first rotary engine (2 rotor, 10A) powered production cars.
the 110S name came from the fact that it produced 110HP (early versions of the motor)

Over to you Katana

i was gonna say 80's toyota corolla wagon?

Yella31 says:

The front 3/4 of the car looks like a mid 80's Nissan Bluebird Station wagon.
None of the Australian models came out with a high roof but maybe it is an overseas model.

This morning on the way to work I was following a Datsun Bluebird Station wagon (early '80s) that was faded brown, with surface rust. A very unatractive vehicle.
I had to have a laugh at one of the stickers on the back - 'Stop Car Theft'
I thought to myself 'yeah, buy a car like this one!'

Yella31

Yella31 says:

Looked at overseas models & what was the Bluebird over here is a 'Cedric' or '280C'
in other countries. These had a rising roof line, unlike the Australian delivered 'Bluebird'

So is it a Datsun/Nissan Cedric/280C (all the same car but different names in different countries)

Yella31 says:

not suprising, the Australian delivered/assembled Bluebirds weren't a good car (cant put what I really think).
But they improved a bit with the next car - Pintara/Skyline wagon

Dislaimer - *Biased opinion, see inset picture*

RB25 non VVT, turbo added, all ready for the change back to a 3.0l
Then it will be a RB30DET (3.0l Twin cam turbo)
Pity its still in Adelaide - will bring it over to WA when I get the finances (and time) so I can take it down to Kwinana Motorplex to compete at Autotrader Fast Fridays.
Its more fun than my R33

As for common, well, my neighbor had one in the late 70's and it was kinda rare then so, I'd say no.
