I dont want to hog the forum so I'll leave the second car to someone else

Nope on the u-boat not a Porsche (Though that is reminiscent of when Tom Cruise sank the 928 in Risky business) So, feel free to keep guessin'

The sub-ma-car is a Nissan Z?

Yella31

Yella31 says:

That was my first thought but I went out to the carpark & looked a 350Z that is parked there each day - The distance from the top of the window to the roofline is different.
But then again the submobile could be a different year & model Z to the one I looked at

as for the u-boat, i think 350z, i know the roofline looks a bit odd but the water will disrupt the lines!!

I kinda put sub-car up as a joke but you guys are really givin' it hell!!! Sub-car is not a Nissan or a Porshe in fact, pretty BIG HINT here, it's not even Japanese or German (technically). I'm kinda surprised sub-car got more attention than the other one. I guess we got some real die hards here!

OK messing about finished;

The main car is a 1954 Desoto Ghia Adventurer II?

I have to admit I originally thought it was some kind of Fiat Ghia V8.

The sub-car was fun though

P.S. As the winner it's your choice do you want the sub-car revealled or want the guessing to continue?
P.P.S. I posted another hint above.

Two for Two! The man is good and/or has been doin' his homework! Any of the hints help or did you just search sunk cars all night? Did you get the "not German (Technically)" portion of the first hint? VW owns Bentley! LOL!

Did you read the article? If not here's the links to the pages I saw it on. The links look the same but will take you to both pages in the article when you click on them:

www.thesun.co.uk/ (and)

100,000 pounds/150,000 dollars. Talk about expensive parking! LOL. Here's what she should have looked like!

They still build motor vehicles - but not in the same country as when this car was made.

P4cey

P4cey says:

is it a 1930's Tatra 600s?

05/19/2009 Essex England

Yella31

Yella31 says:

P4cey is correct

The Tatra 600 (or Tatraplan) was originally made in Czechoslovakia
It had a boxer style engine (simular to VW) and was air cooled - reason for the vents on the roof at the rear.
Later model Tatra's featured in some british made films & there is a register of Tatra cars in England - not suprised someone from England guessed this car.

Over to you P4cey!
