Ford and GM love sponsoring the big flicks but it just does not make me want the cars at all - in fact after you figure out that everyone is driving on marque of car it kind of ruins it

The car the James Bond drives into the Bahama resort in the last movie made him look like a doofus - the only saving grace was that it was probably a car he rented

Speaking of movie cars...I'm looking for a few carshow style cars for a short film being shot in the Sutherland shire over the longweekend in Oct. If you or anyone you know has a worthwhile car please send your details to info@xplodefilms.com Also looking for a car with a nice big blower sticking out the front. Not paying gig, but will supply food and drinks.

Cheers

Nice - I love this forum - cars manufacturers spend so much money on placing cars in movies - I wonder what the Transformers deal was worth?

I'm not sure if this site has been mentioned before and I don't know how to paste/post direct links but if you go to www.imcdb.org hopefully you will find the most comprehensive movie car database I've seen. This is a real anorak's site which goes ott by even listing cars parked up in the background.
