*back in the days of video cassete* "The Wraith" was movie about some street racer who was killed by a streetracing gang so came back as the wraith (some supernatural super driver) and drag-raced (killed) them all one by one! i don't remember it too well but i do recall a scene when the highway gang insisted on inspecting his engine (to make sure he's not cheating, i guess) and they all got scared when they seen the engine was not mounted..... just hovering in the engine bay,

The car is a Dodge M4S Concept, Powered by a Mopar 2.2 inline four cylinder with a cosworth 16 valve , twin cam head. capable of producing over 400hp with the help of twin Garrett T25 turbochargers. the original car was built by Dodge and PPG industries,a further 6 "prop" cars fitted with buick V6's and corvette wheels were built for the movie 4 of which got destroyed during filming.

What about the truck with an integrated helicopter on it? Was in a Tv series in the 80's. Some guy looking for justice, deploying his helicopter in time of need... remember? Couldn't find picture.

O yeah, how could you forget the van in the A-team?

been thinking a while... Can anyone find the picture of the monkey Clyde in the movie with Clint Eastwood, where Clyde is driving the limo?

I've not seen "Any Which Way You Can" ( the sequel to "Every Which Way But Loose") in years so don't remember Clyde the Orang-tan driving, but in one scene Clint tells Clyde to make a right-turn hand-signal, "Right turn Clyde" knocking the bikes over like dominoes.

The Batmobile has been featured in this forum before but here is a brief history of this iconic car.
In 1955, the Lincoln division of the Ford Motor Company designed a futuristic concept car called the Lincoln Futura. It was handbuilt in Turin, Italy at a cost of $250,000 USD, but like many concept cars was never put into production.
In the early 1960s George Barris of Barris Kustom City acquired the car for one dollar directly from Ford.
Fast forward to 1965, ABC Television approached Barris to have him build a car for their upcoming "Batman" TV series. The only catch was the car had to be ready in just three weeks. Seeing the bat-like qualities his Futura already had Barris felt it was the perfect answer. He set about modifying the nose and tail adding numerous bat-like shapes and references.
Three weeks later, in October 1965 the Batmobile was born and television history made.

Toyota 2000GT from the 1967 Bond movie "You Only Live Twice"

Although the car was never commercially available as a convertible, two were made specially for the film, the reason being Sean Connery was too tall to fit into the coupe version.

This movie's been mentioned before but there are no pictures of it's star - Eleanor.

Eleanor was a 1971 Ford Mustang fastback cloned to look like a 1973 model year car in H.B. Halicki's 1974 "Gone in 60 Seconds". Worth watching for the final 40 minute car chase.

1934 Ford Coupe that featured in the 1974 made for TV film "The California Kid".

The film starred Martin Sheen (as the Kid) and Nick Nolte. It was this car that provided the inspiration for ZZ Top's 'Eliminator' Hot Rod.

YOU PEOPLE ARE ****ING DUMB THAT IS A 69 DODGE CHARGER DAYTONA THE CAR WAS BUILT FOR NASCAR NOT FOR YOU ****S IT WAS ONE OF THE ONLY CARS TO HIT 200 MPH IN THE 70'S THE CONE ON THE FRONT REPLACED THE STOCK CHARGER GRILL AND HEADLIGHTS ALL THAT IS BEHIND IT IS AN AIR DUCK TO COOL THE RADIATOR NOT THE CHARGER GRILL. THE ONLY REASON THE CAR EVEN HAS HEADLIGHTS IS BECAUSE NASCAR REQUIRED THAT 1500 PRODUCTION CARS BE SOLD IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO ENTER A VEHICLE INTO THE CIRCUIT.
